Obituary of Elizabeth Esper

Elizabeth T. Albert Esper Elizabeth T. Albert Esper, age 93, a resident of Westlake Woods died peacefully at Millcreek Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 5, 2008. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Mike and Rougina Albert. She lived in Pittsburgh until moving to Erie, PA in 1989. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in Pittsburgh and later the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Erie. In addition to her parents, her husband Abraham Luis Esper preceded her in death. She is survived by four children: Linda Winslow and her husband, Dallas, of Wilmington, DE, Daniel Esper and his wife, Susie, of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. William Esper and his wife, Susie Esper, of Erie, PA, and Donna Ras and her husband, Ray, of Plantation, FL. Additionally, she is survived by her loving grandchildren: Beth King and her husband, Matt, Chrissie Petrillo and her husband, Joe, Jessica Embrescia and her husband, Michael, Laurie and Katie Esper, Jaci and Billy Esper, and her great-grandchildren Johnny Petrillo and Grace King. Elizabeth worked at Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh for 35 years where she retired. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all. Friends are invited to attend a viewing Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
