Obituary of Robert Evans

Robert "Bob" N. Evans Robert "Bob" N. Evans, age 92, of Millcreek Twp., died Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Golden Living-Cambridge Springs. He was born in Morrisdale, PA, on October 22, 1917, the son of the late, Willard and Rachel Hugar Evans. He was employed at Poplar White Trucking for many years. He was a member of the trucker's union and the St. David's Society. He enjoyed painting, woodworking, and carving Welsh wedding spoons. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Ross Evans and two sisters: Viola and Vivian Evans. He is survived by two daughters; Kathleen Norell (Russell) of Waterford, Colleen Skinner (Richard) of Erie, two sisters; Jean Curley of Erie, Grace Merrow of Morrisdale, PA, six grandchildren: Lisa Norell of Erie, Amy Kingen (Dale) of Mill Village, Megan Verbanac (Dan) of Cambridge Springs, Brett Skinner (Laurie) of Erie, Molly Reicherd (Steve) of Erie, and Erin Yurkovic (Greg) of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are nine great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 until time of service there at 8:00 p.m. Private interment.
