Edith Rivera Santiago Edith Rivera Santiago, age 78, of Erie, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, on September 17, 1942, the daughter of the late Juan and Maria Mecardo Rivera. She was a faithful Pentecostal believer and loved her church, Church of God Galatians, and her church family. She enjoyed cooking and puzzles. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paulino Santiago and two sisters; Norma Ramos and Glady Valentine. She is survived by one daughter Carmen Borrero, two sons; Miguel Borrero, Paulino Gomez, ten brothers and sisters: Lydia Rivera, Brunilda Gomez, Raymond, Jose, and Ada Gonzalez, Antonia, Alberto, William, Luis, and Samuel Valentine, five grandchildren: Juana, Janice, Angel, Jesenia, and Jeserie Rosado, twenty- two great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with all Covid-19 restrictions enforced from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service. Interment Erie Cemetery.
