Bomber Ferraro
Bomber Ferraro, age 53, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born on June 8, 1957 in Meadville, PA, the son of the late, Dominic and Shirley Johnson Ferraro.
Bomber was known by all for his great gift of gab, his contagious bright smile, and his true compassion and love for others. He loved spending his time with his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and family. He also loved gardening and was an avid Steelers and Penn State fan. Though he suffered with several health problems, he always lived life to its fullest and loved his family with every breath he took. Bomber's beautiful spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Julia Ann Winnett Ferraro, one daughter, Erica Ferraro and her husband, Aaron Daniel of Erie, one son, Bomber Ferraro II of Erie, two grandchildren, Daython and Dylan Ferraro- Daniel, three sisters; Cynthia Kightlinger (Don) of Saegertown, Linda Wilson and Kay Ferraro both of Meadville, six brothers: Harold Ferraro (Barbara), John Ferraro (Gina), Gary Ferraro (Tabitha), all of Meadville, Dan Ferraro (Michelle) of OH, Charlie Ferraro (Patti) of Akron, OH, Mark Ferraro (Leslie) of SC, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 823 Filmore Ave., Erie, PA 16505, the Diabetes Association of Erie County, 1128 State St., Erie, PA 16501, or to the charity of one's choice.
