Obituary of Eileen Myra Fulton

Eileen Myra Fulton age 80 of Millcreek Twp., passed away at UPMC-Hamot Hospital on Sunday January 31, 2021 with her family at her side, following the result of several strokes over the last six months. She was born in Spangler, PA on May 27 1940, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Beltowski) Gisler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Beverly Knapp, Eugene Gisler Sr. and Jerome Gisler. Eileen moved to the area in 1967, she was a Millcreek Twp. school crossing guard and a music teacher at the Barber National Institute. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, where she played the organ and also played at Holy Family Church. Eileen was a licensed insurance agent, selling for the Polish National Alliance. She was a member of the PNA Lodge #2205 and was a former Commissioner of District 4. She was also a member of, Tice and the Shores Moose Chapter 562 (FL), the American Legion Auxiliary Post #773 and was a volunteer Girl Scout Leader. Eileen enjoyed to travel, music and flower gardening. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dalton James Fulton, whom she married on May 26, 1962 at St. Edwards’s Church in Barnesboro, PA; their two children, Mary Fulton (husband Scott Weaver) and James Fulton (Wife Veronica); two grandchildren, Rebecca Fulton and Julia Fulton and two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends in Pennsylvania and Florida where she spent the past twenty winters. Friends may call at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2401 W. 38th St. Erie, PA 16506, on Friday February 5, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Hastings, PA. All CDC Covid-19 Guidelines will be strictly enforced.
