Obituary of Robert Louis Fratus

Robert “Bob” Louis Fratus Robert “Bob” Louis Fratus, age 67, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at UPMC-Hamot. Bob was born in Erie on May 15, 1953 the son of the late Emanuel and Eleanor Benecki Fratus. Bob was employed at Steris (AMSCO) for 40 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church and was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan, he loved to work on old cars, enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his beloved granddaughter Sarah, doing crossword puzzles, and sudoku puzzles. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Heidi Louise Stewart Fratus who just recently passed away on February 4th. Bob is survived by two sons; Robert Fratus (Teresa), Nicholas Fratus, two brothers; Daniel Fratus, James Fratus (Cheryl), and grandchildren: Sarah Fratus, Nick Gould, (Gabi), and Ellie Rose Gould. Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 1626 West 26th Street, Erie, PA on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. All arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
