Obituary of Regina Marie Luschini

Regina Marie Luschini, age 96, of Millcreek Twp. passed away on Monday March 15, 2021, surrounded by her loving children. She was born in Erie on September 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Walter and Caroline (Wesolowski) Zawistoski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Angelo Luschini in 2017. Regina worked at General Partitions and later retired from Erie Ceramic Arts. She loved spending time with her family, reading, shopping and, along with her husband, always welcomed travel and a new adventure. Regina was a “social butterfly”, she loved attending community events, was a member of the Red Hats Society, volunteered at the Mercy Center, was active at Parkside At Westminster where she resided, and sang in a choir at local nursing homes throughout the city. Regina was generous with her time in helping others and she was very giving as it relates to the many charities she supported. She is survived by her two children, Mark Luschini and his wife Sue of Pittsburgh, and Denise Luschini of Erie, plus four grandchildren, Corinna, Mia, Isabella and Julian. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, with entombment following in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506.
