Edward Roy Sornberger
Edward Roy Sornberger, age 75, of Erie, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at UPMC-Hamot from Parkinson Disease.
He was born on March 31, 1946, in Erie the son of the late, Roy and Mildred Sornberger.
He was employed at H. Platt Construction as a laborer for 32 years.
He was very proud to have served in the US Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife Ellen Sornberger, one daughter, Breeanon Tomcho of Newport News, VA, one sister Janet Myers (Dennis) of Erie, and one brother; Richard Sornberger (Cheryl) of Erie.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Donald Sornberger.
Private Services were held at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the French Creek Animal Rescue, 13869 US-19, Waterford, PA 16441.
