Russell “Neil” Hamblin
Russell Neil Hamblin, age 69, of Erie, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, October 24, 2021.He was born in Erie on July 29, 1952, the son of the late Russell E. and Gloria R. Bennett Hamblin.
He was self- employed.
He was a member of the Erie Skeet Club.
Neil was an avid hunter, enjoyed motorcycle restoration, and all shooting sports.
Neil is survived by one sister Sheila Doolittle (Kevin) of North East, PA, one brother Jerry Hamblin of Erie, two nieces; Ashley Doolittle, Holly Wood, two nephews; Devin Hamblin (Jennifer), Casey Doolittle (Alison), several great nieces and special friends; Jessica Kidd, Sue Snyder, and Derrick Eger. He was preceded in death by one niece Arwen Hamblin.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 4 until 7 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
