Obituary of Helen Pacak Markowski

Helen Pacak Markowski Helen Pacak Markowski, age 99, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born in Albion, PA on October 2, 1922, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Katherine Bain Pacak. Helen worked for 28 years at Erie Tech & Murata Electric. She was a life-long member of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, a member of the Zukor Club and Ladies Auxiliary, and also the Siebenbuerger Club and Ladies Auxiliary. Helen enjoyed many years of family gatherings and parties at her home. She will always be remembered for her many years of loving and caring dedication to family and friends. She was always quick to send cards, letters, and food to shut ins whom she loved. She was a devoted daughter and cared for her father until he reached 99 years old. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene Markowski, her only son Larry Markowski, 4 brothers: Nicholas (Rose), Michael (Eva), Walter (Jennie), and Charles (JoAnne) Pacak, her sisters; Ann Potsic, and Catherine Czupkowski. She is survived by one sister Mary Hlynsky and several nieces and nephews. Private services were conducted at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Entombment Calvary Cemetery.
