Marion L. Captain DiLoreto Will
Marion L. Captain DiLoreto Will, age 92, formerly of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Elmwood Gardens. She was born on January 9, 1929 in Erie, the daughter of the late John C. and Loretta R. Dworakowski Captain. Marion was a 1946 graduate of Strong Vincent H.S. and was a pay-roll clerk at Louis Marx and Erie Resistor. She was an assistant manager at Northwest Savings Bank until her retirement in 1991.
She was a board member and therapist for the Cystic Fibrosis Association and a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. She was a member of Cursillo #26, taught CCD, served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, was a volunteer for the Brig Niagara League, was a voting poll worker, and volunteered at flu vaccine clinics.
Marion enjoyed walking, playing cards, and music.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Panfilo R. DiLoreto and her second husband Alvin T. Will.
She is survived by four daughters: Pamela Perino and her husband Jeffrey of Orlando, FL, Carolyn DiLoreto of Millcreek Twp., Cheryl Schultz of Erie, Mary Beth Will of Erie, four sons: Matthew J. DiLoreto and his wife Leah of McKean Twp., Christopher DiLoreto of Butler, PA, Michael Will (Susan) of Harborcreek, Scott Will (Robin) of Erie, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one sister Laura Captain of NC, one niece, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her step-mother Mary Vera Monteiro Captain, one grandson Ryan Newcomb, and one son-in-law Duane Schultz.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd on Thursday, December 9, 2021 (TODAY) from 4 until 7 pm and on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 2401 West 38th Street, Erie, from 9 am until the time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am.
Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Marion is leaving the world a much better place cherished for all.
