James Joseph Laughlin James J. Laughlin, age 88, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was born in Erie on November 21, 1933, the son of the late Lawrence and Florence Wehen Laughlin. James was a graduate of Millcreek H.S. and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated the original Laughlin Collision Service. He was a member of St. George R.C. Church. He was preceded in death by one sister Lois Irwin and one brother Larry Laughlin. He is survived by three children; Patrick J. Laughlin, Leslie L. Laughlin, Michael J. Laughlin, two grandchildren; Olivia and Taylor Levinson, four sisters: Alice Bailey, Kay Haibach, Carol Grieshaber, Mary Renwick, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 5 pm until 7 pm and are invited to St. George R.C. Church, 5145 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16509 on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Humans Society, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506.
