Obituary of James A. Fullerton, Sr.

James A. Fullerton, Sr. James A. Fullerton, Sr., age 89, of Franklin Twp., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Erie on January 29, 1933, the son of the late Oscar J. and Ruth Disbrow Fullerton. Jim served in the US Air Force (retired) for 21 years during the Korean and Vietnam eras and Flex-Y-Plan (retired) for 20 years. He was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and a member of First Church of God in Cambridge Springs. He enjoyed collecting trains. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Patricia I. Boyer Fullerton, five children: James, Jr., Ronald (Lea), Kathy Dunlap (Clifford), Sandra, David (Laura), and Alice Shallenberger (George), twenty-two grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Russell (William), two brothers; Richard (Elizabeth), Oscar, Jr. (Patricia), and two great-grandsons; Nathaniel and Gabriel Fullerton. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 3 pm until 7 pm and are invited there on Monday, February 7, 2022 for the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment Erie County Memorial Gardens.
