Nancy Jane Doverspike Myers
Nancy Jane Myers went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and loved ones. Nancy was born on July 18, 1935, in Potter County, PA. Nancy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Grandma, and GiGi.
She loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She displayed a strong faith in the Lord and created a strong foundation of faith and love for her children and future generations.
She was preceded in death by her former husband James A Myers, Sr., her parents; Theodore Edward and Ella Catherine Doverspike, four brothers: Kenneth, Gene, Jack, and Robert Doverspike, one sister Lois George, one daughter-in-law Suzanne Myers, and a grandson James Myers.
She is survived by her children: Pam Ergler (Mike), Lindy Izzi (Jack), Jim Myers, Terry Shallenberger (Mark), Jo Lynn Keane (Joe), Laurie Lowry (Tom), Aimee Firmi (Ryan), 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 4 pm until the time of the service there at 6pm. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
