Betty Motherwell Fritts
Betty R. Motherwell Fritts, age 86, of Erie, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Pleasant Ridge Manor-East. She was born in Erie on August 18, 1920, the daughter of the late David and Bessie Welder Motherwell.
She was employed at and retired from the Erie Business Center as a cook. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence C. Fritts, one sister, Gladys and one brother, Bob; two daughters, Audrey Packman and Bonnie Robinson.
Six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive her. Private interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St. Erie, PA 16501.
