Obituary of Dianne K Lindey-Munson

Dianne K. Lindey-Munson, 79, of Erie, passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 23, 1942 a daughter of the late, Elroy and Elizabeth (Grecula) Lindey. Dianne was a 1961 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and a 1982 graduate of Villa Maria College, earning her bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She was the first elected president of the Sarah Reed Children’s Center Auxiliary and also worked at Fairview Manor, MECA and for the US Census Bureau. She enjoyed spending her days doing crafts and needle point. She is survived by her children, Chris Munson of Frisco, TX; grandson, Caleb; Eric (Karen) Munson; grandson, Eric Jr.; Adam (Jolene) Munson; grandchildren, Alyson, Isaac and Riley and Ryan (Holly) Munson; grandchildren, Taylor and Cami and one great-grandson, Nolan all of Erie. To her grandchildren she will always be remembered as “Munsie”. Dianne is further survived by one brother, Ron (Beverly) Lindey of Naples, FL. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 7:00 PM.
