Obituary of Eileen Berdina Chludzinski

Eileen Berdina VanNatta Chludzinski, age 101 of Erie passed away at ForestView skilled nursing home on Monday, April 4, 2022. She was born on January 19, 1921 in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Rose Harding VanNatta Bonin and Reginald VanNatta. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years John J. Chludzinski, a retired Erie Police Detective, on February 7, 1987.
She attended Villa Maria Academy and East High School. Eileen will always be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her family, taking long walks, doing puzzles, and watching classic movies. She was a lifelong member of Saint Ann Catholic Church and more recently Saint Joseph Church Bread of Life Community.
She is survived by her son Cary Chludzinski (Georgia), daughter Susan Kujan (Steve), grandchildren John Chludzinski, Kent Kujan (Gina), Karen Rueda (Nick), and Eric Kujan. Great grandchildren Nicholas, Mary Jane, Sara, Rachel, Grace and Johnny Rueda and Brayden Kujan also survive her. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at ForestView skilled nursing home for their kind and loving care.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Duskas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Road, Erie, PA 16506. Private services and interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A Funeral Mass will be held for family and friends at Saint Joseph Bread of Life Church, 147 West 24th St. Erie, PA 16502, on Monday April 11th at 11:00 AM.
