Obituary of Mike Brule

Michael “Mike” or “Bubba” Robert Brule, age 68, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at this home on Sunday May 8, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 16, 1953, a son of the late Hank and Harriet (Dawkins) Brule. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Debra (Deb) Brule, his ex-wife and best friend Karen Brule and baby brother, Daniel Brule.
Mike was a retired Navy veteran and was currently employed as a maintenance man at the Shoreline Apartments, were he resided. He loved his grandchildren, Elvis, tattoos, motorcycles, beer and weed. He enjoyed watching classic monster films, reading and writing poetry, singing, playing jokes on people, free style rapping and DIY projects.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra (DJ) Brule and son-in-law David Docter; grandchildren, Clarissa, Flo and Kaulen Docter and one brother Al Brule.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday May 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends are also invited to honor Bubba’s life of Sunday May 15, 2022 at the Hi and Dri Pub, 3077 West Lake Rd. Erie, PA 16505 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
