Obituary of Florence Ciotoli

Florence Felberg Ciotoli, age 101, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022, on what would have been her 72nd wedding anniversary. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kujawski) Felberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dante Ciotoli; as well as her son, James Ciotoli and a brother Raymond Felberg. Florence graduated from East High School and studied at Villa Maria College. She spent her entire working career at AHN St. Vincent Hospital, having retired as Sr. Margaret Ann Hardner’s executive assistant. Florence lived most of her life in Erie and the last 20 years in Fairview, PA, near her daughter and son-in-law. She was a member of Holy Cross R.C. Church and had been a member of the YMCA since 1988. He hobbies included caring for her home and garden that she loved dearly, doing puzzles, baking and needlework. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Grace and Dennis Shannon; as well as three grandchildren, Stephen and Kelly Shannon and their children, Kimberly, Colin and Morgan. Justin and Brenna Shannon and their children, Kate, Ellie and Quinn and Emily (Ciotoli) Smith and Steven Smith. Erie, PA 16506 on Friday May 27, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church 7100 West Ridge Rd.
