To the Family of John Gorka - I worked with your father for a few years at Johnson Controls/Carlisle Engineered Products where he was a Production Supervisor. He was a fantastic employee and an even better person. He was very reliable and was very honest and respectful to the people he supervised. He was extremely well-liked by both salaried and unionized employees. I am so very sorry to have read this obit today. RIP, my friend!!!

It breaks my heart to know that John is gone. I will always look back on memories of him fondly-- all of which involved a lot of laughter. He was truly the best and I will forever be grateful I had the opportunity to know him.

Tim and Mike, your Dad was such a special person and a good friend to my father. I grew up hearing stories about their college years, the rivalry between the Yankees and Indians, and all things Pitt.
