Obituary of Colleen M. Jones

Colleen M. Jones The angels decided they needed a friend and the Lord called M. Colleen Jones home on Saturday, June 4, 2022. She was born in Erie on July 25, 1940, the daughter of the late John T. and Alberta Smith Reynolds. As the expression goes, “to know her was to love her”, as Colleen had many life-long friends. She spent the majority of her life helping to care for 6 generations of family. As a family friend once said, “she is the most selfless person they had ever known”. We will miss her beyond words. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, Sandra, her husband Frank Jones, and a dear friend Marie Buczynski. Colleen is survived by her daughter Kim Vitelli (Joe), sons; Shawn Sheldon, James Sheldon (Jodie), grandchildren: Nathan, Nicole, Colleen (Mike), Shannon, her great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Gabrianna, Brayson, Mikey, Matty, and Jordyn. She is also survived by her brother Greg Reynolds (Barbara) and her sister Judy Morad, as well as many friends including her life-long friend Patricia Smith, and many nieces and nephews. Private arrangements were made by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
