Obituary of Gerald Joseph Skolnik

Gerald Joseph Skolnik Gerald J. Skolnik, age 81, of Erie, joined his beloved wife, Ann Marie, on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was born on July 28, 1940 in Erie, the son of the late Joseph and Hedwig Napierkowski Skolnik. Gerald was a long-time employee with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a parishioner at St. Luke R.C. Church, was past Commodore at the Presque Isle Yacht Club and was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club. He enjoyed spending time at his camp and on his boats, and watching his grandsons play football. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Marie Pasky Skolnik on May 2, 2022 and his son Joseph. He is survived by his children; Jerome (Kathy Jo), Brian (Susan), Jennifer, his sister-in-law Patricia McMahon (Daniel), his brother-in-law Joseph R. Pasky (Sabra), his grandsons; Joseph and Jacob, his granddaughters; Julia and Lyrissa, and step-grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Emily. Friends may attend a Memorial Mass at St. Luke R.C. Church, 421 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th. Street, Erie, PA 16511.
