Carole M. Comstock Harrington
Carole M. Comstock Harrington, age 85, of Fairview Twp., passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was born in Erie on July 4, 1937, the daughter of the late John Leroy and Madeline M. Fuhrman Comstock.
Carole was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and was employed at Bucyrus Erie until her marriage to her husband, Richard.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening (won Fairview Garden Club’s Award), playing Canasta, decorating, and antiquing. Carole loved animals and made a home for many.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard P. Harrington, two children; Holly Pawlowski (Terry) of Fairview Twp., Gregory R. Harrington (Melissa) of McKean Twp., five grandchildren: Amanda Glomb (Greg), Corrinne Pawlowski (fiancé Michael Benesh), Ryan Pawlowski, Lauren Harrington, Dr. Rachael Harrington (fiancé Riju Goupta).
Friends may call upon the family on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Holy Cross Church, 7100 W. Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415 from 9 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. Private interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to People for Life, 1625 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16508 or a “No Kill” animal shelter of your choice
