Obituary of Janice Elaine Paul

Janice Elaine Paul, age 80 of Millcreek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at St. Mary’s at Asbury Ridge Retirement Community. She was born in Erie on April 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Thelma (Fogle) McCray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Paul and one brother, Kenneth McCray.
Janice graduated from Tech Memorial High School in 1960. She served our local community as a nurse’s aide and worked for many years at St. Mary’s Home of Erie, where she met her husband. Janice was very artistic and enjoyed crocheting afghan’s, furniture refinishing and other crafts.
She is survived by five children, Nadine (Roger) Fenell, Christine Bowers, Sharie Lingerman, Mary (Dave) Berlund and Art (Linda) Brozell; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and her twin sister Janet Dahn.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday. September 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service there at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
