Obituary of Cheryl D. Fisher

Cheryl D. Fisher Cheryl D. Fisher, age 72, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born in Erie on June 16, 1950, daughter of the late William and Audrey Green Dennington. Cheryl was a 1969 graduate of McDowell High School. She was employed at Plastek Mfg, retiring in 2007. Cheryl’s hobbies over the years included arts and crafts and crocheting. She loved animals, especially her cats. Cheryl treasured her time spent with her grandchildren, supporting them in their many activities. Cheryl is survived by her two children, Shawn Fisher (Barb) and Kimberly Burkhart (Chris); one brother, Bill Dennington (Diane); one sister-in-law, Diane Dennington; four grandchildren, Nick Fisher (Anna), Alayna Wadding (Tyler), Addison Burkhart and Chase Burkhart; several nieces and nephews, and her cat, Tommy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Doug Dennington. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Wednesday from 11 am until 1 pm and are invited to attend a Graveside Service following visitation at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
