Gary Graber Shepherd Gary Graber Shepherd, age 94, beloved husband of Eleanor (Elle Ruth) for 69 ½ years and loving daddy to Gayle (Rob), Lynn (Thomas), Laurie (Dean), and Susan, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. His legacy will last through his wife and daughters as well as his 5 grandchildren; Ryan, Alexia, Rachael, Brett, and Brian, and also his 7 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Elle, Penelope, Quinn, Evelin, Sawyer, and Vera. Gary spent his career as an executive in the steel industry, beginning at Acme Steel in Buffalo, NY and later at National Forge Co. Upon retiring he furthered his involvement in the church by becoming Lifelong Ruling Elder and Clerk of Session at Covenant Church of Naples, FL. Gary was a 32nd degree Mason Scottish Rite. He enjoyed an active life. Before meeting the love of his life, he was a touring professional musician known best for playing the tenor saxophone with his 12-piece orchestra. He enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, fishing, golfing, and raising and breeding Registered Quarter horses with his daughters. His true love was spending time with his family. A private family service will be held. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
