Obituary of John MIchael Daddario

John Michael Daddario John Michael Daddario, age 84, of Millcreek Twp., lost his battle against Cancer on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on December 16, 1938, the son of the late John Daddario and Florence Perseo Daddario Sosinski. John served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and received the good conduct Award. He was the former owner of the Golden Nugget and Losers Lounge/ The Cab. He was employed at Waste Management and PennDOT. He was a member of many Erie Clubs; Sportsmen’s Athletic Club, National Club, American Legion Post #773, and the Elks Lodge #76. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, and enjoyed camping, boating, driving his Mercedes convertible, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Daddario, three granddaughters: April Brassell, Gloria Dobrich, and Britney Olbrych. He is survived by his loving companion Lori Gibbens, two daughters; Maria Olbrych (Gary) of TX, Lisa Dobrich (Joe) of Millcreek Twp., one grandson Tyler Olbrych, three granddaughters: Gianna, Micaela, and Silvana Dobrich, great- grandchildren; Gabriel, Michael, and June Olbrych. Friend may attend a time of remembrance for John at the Sportsmen’s Athletic Club, 2727 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6 pm until 8 pm. All arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Humane Society, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506.
