Obituary of Glen A. Pavkov

Glen A. Pavkov, age 82, of Millcreek, went to be with His Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, following a short illness. He was born in Akron, OH on September 6, 1940, son of the late Theodore and Anna Pavkov.
Glen graduated from Gannon College with a BA in General Science. He worked in Quality Engineering at General Electric, Smith Meter, and retired from Jepson Precision Tool. Glen was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he served in various ministries. He was most recently a member of First Alliance Church where he was also very active.
Glen loved the Lord, his country, and his family. He wore the flag and his faith proudly. He was a devoted family man and loved to spend time with his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, playing games or teaching them various things. He was known for his wonderful hospitality and kind and generous heart.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Jepson Pavkov; his three daughters, Tamara Mokma (Tim), Melony Wells (Joe) and Wendy Popow (Tom); three brothers, four sisters, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one soon to be born, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Friday from 7 to 9. Further visitation will be held at First Alliance Church, on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 2 pm, conducted by Pastor Scott Shuffield and Pastor David Miles. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Alliance Church Benevolent Fund, 2939 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506 or ProMedica Hospice, 719 Indiana Drive, Erie, PA 16505.
