Obituary of Allan L. Otteni

Allan L. Otteni, age 81, of McKean Twp., passed away peacefully with his wife of fifty-four years, Diane J. (Krupp) Otteni and family by his side on Friday, February 24, 2023. Allan was born in Erie on September 22, 1941, the son of the late Lloyd E. and Winifred M. (Wadsworth) Otteni. Allan graduated from Fairview High School in 1961. He spent most of his career as an HVAC technician, ran his own business in the eighties, and taught his trade at Triangle Tech. After he retired, he drove school bus for special needs children. A job that he enjoyed very much. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working on cars, golfing, and spending time with his family. He loved Jesus and believed in helping others. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Lillian (Granny) Wadsworth and brothers Larry and Richard Otteni; nephew Larry Otteni Jr. and niece Danielle Otteni Farver. Besides his wife, Diane, he is survived by his children: Patrick Otteni (Sandi), Cindy Otteni Heintz (Leo). Grandchildren: Cole Otteni (Sarah), Brett Heintz (Rebekah), Caitlin Otteni Getty (Lee), and Christopher Heintz. Great Grandchildren: Lee Getty II and Robert and Anna Heintz. He is also survived by a brother, David Otteni (Mary), sisters-in-law, Wendy and Patricia Otteni, along with many nieces and nephews. Allan is also survived by family friends, Carmen and Linda MacDonald, Chuck and Sondra Kauffman. Family and friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, and are invited there on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11am for the Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Will Law of Elevate Church.
