Obituary of Delores J. Hartle

Delores J. “Dee” Hartle Delores J. Hartle “Dee” danced her way to heaven on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from Alzheimer’s Disease. Dee was born in Oil City, PA on October 3. 1935, to the late Lawrence J. Hartle and Eva L. Bauer. She married Aloysius Obmann who preceded her in death on March 7, 2020. She retired from PNC Bank. Dee enjoyed traveling, dancing, volunteering at SafeNet, Inc. and the Children’s Art House. She was a member of Our Lade of Peace Church and participated in the prayer line. She had a vivacious personality and infectious smile. She is survived by her children; Sheryl Carpenter (Vicky Wrzeszcz) of Erie, Mary Carpenter of Sunrise, FL, Nancy Carpenter of Erie, Daniel Carpenter (Alice) of Montrose, CO, Jeffrey Carpenter (Elena) of Canandaigua, NY, and daughter-in-law Gina Carpenter of Erie. Also surviving are special grandchildren: La’Rina and Rachael Redinger, Danielle and Amy Carpenter, Michael and Jeffrey Carpenter, and Jessica Carlson, six great-grandchildren; especially Roman Shields and Destinee Carpenter, her brother William Hartle (Carol) of Mill Hall, PA, and her sister Bernice Hotaling of Lynchburg, VA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Aloysius Obmann, one son David L., Carpenter and her sister Patricia Whitman. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am.
