Obituary of Larry M. Stewart

Larry M. Stewart, age 73, of McKean, passed away at his home, on Saturday March 11, 2023. He was born in Canonsburg, PA on September 26, 1949, a son of the late Beatrice and Morgan Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sandra. Larry graduated from South Fayette High School and attended Gannon College. He made his career at Applied Industrial Technologies (formerly Bearings Inc.), where he started as a part time employee in the stock room and worked his way to a top executive position. He retired in 2012 after 38 years of service. Larry enjoyed traveling, golfing, the outdoors and woodworking, where he excelled as a master craftsman. He is survived by his wife, Marcia; five daughters, Megan Beddick (Todd), Erin Noble (Charles Ratzer), Shannon Phillips (Dustin), Lauren Stewart (Doug Pierce) and Allison Stewart; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Allan (Susan) and Dean (Robbie) and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday March 17, 2023 from 3:00 PM until the time of the funeral service there at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
