Please share a memory of Kathryn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathryn Lindgren Kathryn (Kitty) Lindgren passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 14, 2023. She was born on November 20, 1928, the eldest child of Herbert (Russ) and Ruth Lindsey. She graduated from Academy High School and sold “Better Dresses” at the Boston Store, retiring in 1994 from Hornes/Lazarus. She then volunteered at the front desk of St. Vincent Hospital for 25 years. Miss Kitty, as she was known by so many friends, loved to play games – dominos were a favorite. She played in her card club on Tuesdays, bingo on Mondays and Wednesdays and there was always a puzzle going outside her apartment. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and her sisters and brother, Connie Edwards, Joel Lindsey and Judy Stevenson. She will be dearly missed by her children, David (Betty) Lindgren of Ohio and Florida, Cindy (Clark) Williams and Jim, of Erie. Her grandchildren are Steve (Leann) Williams, Gregory (Amy) Lindgren, Marc (Teresa) Lindgren and Sara (Michael) Musone, in addition to nine great grandchildren. She will be celebrated at a service on Saturday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 5440 Washington Avenue, Erie, Pa 16509. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Church Roof Fund.
