Obituary of Chontel M. McClure

Chontel M. McClure Chontel “Chonny” M. McClure, age 44, of Erie, passed away after a brief illness at her residence on Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born in Honolulu, Oahu, HI on August 1, 1978, the daughter of Deborah A., Heisler and Gary Kuzma (Cindy). Chonny loved animals, especially her dog, Mocha and her cats Angelina and Elwood. She loved to be out in nature. She especially loved living in FL with her late husband, Ricky, and her children whom she adored. Chonny was a 1997 graduate of McDowell H.S. She lived in FL from 2006 through 2012 and has been widowed since Sept. 21, 2014. She loved music and dancing, eating healthy fruits and veggies, baking, taking rides, and going to the beach. She was a kind and loving woman and generous; even when she didn’t have much to give. Besides her parents she is survived by her children: Austen, Mason, Kadin, and Owen McClure, one sister Kelly Jo Light, one brother Joseph Warren, one aunt Linda S. Gaerttner (Jerry), and one uncle Robert W. Heisler (Marti). She was preceded in death by her husband Ricky McClure, one daughter Ashalena “Lena” McClure, two brothers; Christopher Kuzma and Robert Dana Warren, and her grandparents: Robert L. and Helen C. Heisler, and Ann Foreman. Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
