Obituary of Richard Robert Robishaw

Robishaw Richard was born on December 3, 1964, in Dorchester, MA. He passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Erie. At age 22, he joined the military to serve his country being the proud patriot he was. If you knew Richard, you knew how much he cherished the flag; which came about as a young child reading stories of soldiers carrying the flag into battle. He was a loving, loyal, and dedicated husband and father who always put his family first, no matter at what cost. Richard loved to put on a rough facade for those who didn’t know him but to those who grew to know him, his heart of gold shined through. Richard loved spending time with his family, smoking meats on his deck, cracking wise jokes, drinking Crown Royal, smoking his cigars, and of course reminding you that he was a southie boy. Richard lived his life to the fullest and always made sure that he was the life of the party. Richard was preceded in death by Richard and Doreen Robishaw and George Weaver. Richard is survived by his endearing wife Kimberly Robishaw, two sisters; Jackie Boley (Ronnie), Samantha Robishaw, two daughters; Joanne Jenkins (Brandon), Mercedes Robishaw-Gonzalez and her wife Charnae, one son Thomas Robishaw, and three grandchildren; Matthew Silka, Roman and Time Jenkins, his mother-in-law, Bev Teribery (Glyn), his nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly. His stories, life lessons, and memories will always be with those who knew him. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 3 pm. until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:30 pm.
