Obituary of Scott Douglas Osborne

Scott D. Osborne Scott D. Osborne, age 70, of Summit Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on October 17, 1952 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Richard and Frances (Triola) Osborne. He is survived by his wife Debbie, his daughter Amanda Osborne Davidson (Brian) and their children; Benjamin and Gabrielle, of Cranberry Twp., his son Marcus Osborne (Erin) and their children; Jena and Ethan of Scott Twp., Pittsburgh, and his son and golf partner Richard “Rick” Osborne, and favorite rescue pup, Brody. Scott is also survived by his siblings: Judy and Roger Wasberg of Jamestown, NY, Sandy and Frank Kent of Blooming Valley, Jim and Shelly Osborne of IL, Tom and Linda Osborne of Meadville, and Marilyn and Joe Mazzone of Lewes, DE, also many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Richard Osborne of FL and a nephew, Tommy Osborne. Scott started his career in advertising sales at Classy 100 in the late 70’s. Over the years he worked in sales management at WICU, WJET/FOX 66, and the last sixteen years at IHeart Radio for the radio stations in the Boston Store. Earlier in his career he partnered with his brother Tom at WEOZ in Meadville. He loved most of all being Papa to his grandkids and was always ready to travel to watch their sporting events in all kinds of weather, his Thursday Golf League at Mound Grove, and the Pittsburgh Steelers (win or lose).
