Harvey Chandley was born on November 10, 1947, he left this world on Monday, October 2, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the cherished only child of Ruth and Harvey Chandley. Harvey's life was marked by love, laughter, and the simple joys that he held dear. Harvey is survived by his four children: Sandra Moffatt, Nathan Chandley, Jered Chandley, and Karah Jackson, who were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by a twin daughter, Jenah Chandley and a grandson, Lucas Jackson who will forever remain in our hearts. He was also a loving grandfather to Angela Moffatt, daughter of Sandra Moffatt, Grady, Caleb, and Carson, sons of Karah Jackson and her husband John Jackson, Teagan, daughter of Nathan Chandley and his wife Kelley Chandley, and Micah, son of Jered Chandley.
Harvey had a passion for hunting and spent countless hours in nature's embrace, finding solace and purpose in the great outdoors. He was a master tinkerer, always eager to explore the inner workings of things, sharing his knowledge and skills with those around him.
But Harvey's true gift was his sense of humor. He had an unparalleled knack for lightening the mood and his infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest of days. Harvey was the kind of person who always had a joke up his sleeve, a prank to pull, or a funny story to share. His laughter was a testament to his joyful spirit.
Above all, Harvey was a loving father and mentor. He exemplified the qualities of a sweet and caring father, providing unwavering support and guidance to his children. He was the best kind of role model anyone could ask for, teaching them not only through words but through his actions.
Harvey was previously married to Janis Weyand, and together, they showed the world the true meaning of co-parenting. Their remarkable relationship set an example of love, respect, and cooperation for their children. Their bond remained strong, emphasizing the importance of family unity.
