John M. "Jack" Andrews John M. "Jack" Andrews, age 75, of Millcreek Twp. died unexpectedly Sunday, November 18, 2007 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born on December 15, 1931, the son of the late, John William "Bill" Andrews and his wife, Dorothy Sweir Andrews. Jack graduated from Gannon University with a BS Degree in accounting. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He served as an accountant for Baldwin Brothers until his retirement. Jack was an active member and former Elder at Grace Baptist Church. He served on the boards of the Baptist Life Insurance Co. and the Erie City Mission. He was an avid Penn State football fan and enjoyed scrabble, crossword puzzles and was an excellent softball pitcher. Jack is survived by his wife of fifty years, Marilyn A. McGaha Andrew, three sons: John W. Andrews and his wife, Christine, of Vienna, VA, Stephen M. Andrews and his wife, Liz, of Windham, NH, Philip B. Andrews and his wife, Jan, of Burke, VA, five grandchildren: John "LJ", Stevie, Jackie, Peter, and Alex Andrews, and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Ruth Dennon, and two brothers, Paul E. and David W. Andrews, preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. Al Detter. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 7300 Grubb Rd. McKean, PA 16426.
