Evangeline "Eve" "Angel" Spampani Goodrich

Eve "Angel" Goodrich, age 70, of Millcreek Twp., passed into the Savior's presence on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was born in Erie on July 30, 1942, the daughter of the late, Pedro J. and Dena Cavallini Spampani.

Eve received both her BS Degree in El. Ed. and her Master's Degree; attaining a reading specialist certificate, from Edinboro University. She was a school teacher in the Millcreek Twp. School District; teaching at Lakewood and Vernondale Schools. She also worked at the Erie Co. Blasco Library. She attended First Alliance Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, fishing, volunteering for Hot-Line of Erie Co., and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Debra J. Kienholz (Don), of Summit Twp., Kathryn M. Huey (fiancée, Kevin Brigaman) of Erie, one brother, Pete Spampani (Judith) of FL, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. David Snyder. Interment Erie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Room, 1024 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501.
