Gopi Maya Basnet
Gopi Maya Basnet, age 57, of Erie, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 after an extended illness at UPMC-Hamot.
She was born on May 27, 1966 in Dagana, Bhutan, the daughter of the late Kul and Maya Basnet.
She has been a member of the Bhutanese Nepalese Community for two months.
She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and dancing.
She is survived by her sisters: Nav Khatiwada, Ganga Bhardari, Radhika Ghimirey, Rukmani Bista, Dhan Maya Basnet, and Mari Maya Basnet, her brothers: Giri, Ram Kumar, and Tara Basnet.
Private services were held at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania RD
