William “Bill” A. Storten William “Bill” A. Storten, age 79, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Erie on September 16, 1944, the son of the late William J. and Frances Kuntz Storten. Bill was employed with the Millcreek Twp Police Department for 39 years until his retirement and served as Chief of the Millcreek Police Dept. for 15 years. Bill was active in CFA (Cat Fanciers Assn.) and showed and bred Maine Coon Cats along with his wife, Susan. They won National and Regional Awards showing their cats at Cat Shows. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Susan L. Peters Storten, two sons; William P. and John D. Storten (Cheryl), one sister Barbara Neuberger (James), four grandchildren: William C., Olivia N., Alison and Zoey Storten and one great-granddaughter Elliann Elizabeth. Private services were conducted through the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphan Angels, 5439 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505 or to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
