Obituary of Mitchell Scott Sweeney

Mitchell Scott Sweeney Our beloved Mitchell “Mitchy” Scott Sweeney, age 3, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024 after a very short and sudden illness. His sweet soul gave our world so much love, joy, and warmth through his beautiful eyes, bright smile, and charming laughter. He loved playing with his sister and brother, being outside, music, being a silly jokester, Bluey, the ocean and beach, camping, hummus, guac and chips, salad, playing baseball, music, ice cream, and having his foot rubs. Mitchell’s resilient spirit was inspiring and he will be missed beyond measure. He is survived by his parents Joseph and Amanda Mitchell Sweeney of Millcreek, his sister and brother Genevieve and Benjamin Sweeney, his grandparents; Kevin and Elizabeth Sweeney, Mark and Marion Mitchell, his aunts and uncles; Erin and David Poulliott, Carrie and Chris Sutton, Sarah Mitchell, and Liz and Christian Walker, his cousins; Jocelyn, Henry, Matthew, Charlie, Oliver, and Callum, his great-grandparents; Bernard and Margaret Kowalski. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 3 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:30 pm.
