Obituary of Mary Margaret Fischer Stallsmith

Mary Margaret Fischer Stallsmith Mary Margaret Stallsmith, age 75, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie on July 8, 1948, the daughter of the late Harry and Bettie Fellows Fischer. She was in retail and retired from Wegmans’ Grocery Stores. Mary enjoyed puzzles, bowling in the Wegman’s leagues, playing Bingo, going to the casino, and hanging with her close friends and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Steven J. Stallsmith in 2017, one daughter Kimberly Maxon, one brother James Fischer, one son-in-law Ryan Hallmark, one brother-in-law Ronald Stallsmith, four nephews: Jeremy, Benjamin, Randy, and Christopher. She is survived by her children: Heather Lattuca of FL, Kelly Hallmark of Erie, Steven T. Stallsmith of Millcreek, four siblings: Alfred “Joe” Fischer (Beth), Jeannie Orlando, John Fischer (Melanie Raygor), Carol Fischer Copfer (Robert), seven grandchildren: Nathan Maxon, Aiden Hallmark, Michael and Alexis Nazario, Katelyn, Tanner, and Derek Widomski, two- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 11 am until the time of service at 2 pm.
