Paul Thomas Bowser
Paul T. Bowser, age 87, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 29, 1936, the son of the late Paul F. and Annabelle Thomas Bowser.
In his early years, Paul worked many jobs just to sustain himself and went through many hardships. He began to work his way up eventually becoming a business entrepreneur; working first at Autoclave Engineers and finally becoming an owner and President of three different companies. He started MaxPro Technologies which is a North American distributor for Maximator products (Germany plant) in the high-pressure industry along with Maxpro designed products and systems with customers throughout the world. To accomplish this, he owned MaxPro Technologies in Fairview, PA, Max pro South in Houston, TX, and Maximator Test in Gurney, IL. He was a very intelligent and workaholic man who achieved so much in his life since those early years of hardships and holding down many jobs just to sustain himself.
Paul served in the US Marine Corp and was chosen to be a guard for Dwight Eisenhower during his inauguration.
Paul loved his family (especially his beloved wife Peggy), going to work every day; whether in Fairview or around the world, and he loved gardening.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael Thomas Bowser, his grandson-in-law Robert Wynne, and his sister Sally Reed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Peggy Foust Bowser, one daughter Lori Bowser Garske (Ray), three grandchildren; Nicole Wynne, Michael (Aly) and Nicholas Bowser, 3 great-grandchildren; Natalya and Ivan Wynne and Jack Bowser, one brother Bill Bowser, two sisters Judy Mumau and Betty Kay Swift, and his daughter-in-law, Kelli Bowser.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 3 pm until 7 pm and are invited there for the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11 am. Interment with full military honors at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asbury Woods Nature Center, 4105 Asbury Road.
