Eileen M. Haas
Eileen M. Haas passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
Eileen was born on December 14, 1936, daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta Greener Hagmann. After losing her mother at age 4, Eileen was raised by her Aunt Agnes and Uncle Julius Hagman who lived next door.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who loved family gatherings, laughter, and bringing people together. She worked for the Central Labor Union for 25 years. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing golf, cooking, baking, and cleaning with her sister, Laverne. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith.
The widow of R. Kenneth Haas, she was also preceded in death by her brothers: Charles, Joseph, Elmer Hagmann, her sister Laverne Tyler, her son R. Kenneth Haas, Jr., and her grandson Eddie. Survivors include her children: Krista (Kim) Jeffreys, Kurt J. Haas, Kim M. Hampy, and her daughter-in-law, Debbie Haas. Her grandchildren: Erica Burton, Daniel K. Haas, Chelsea Blais, Tayler Haas, Lindsay (Emily) Redig, Ashley (Steve) Yoest and Chloe Hampy. Her great grandchildren: Aiden K. Burton, Adelyn and Colten Yoest, and Theodore Blais. Eileen also has many nieces and nephews who love her.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff members at Pleasant Ridge Manor for their kindness and compassionate care.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 7100 West Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415. Fr. Thomas Tyler, her godson, will officiate. The burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
