John Scott “Scotty” Farr


John Scott “Scotty” Farr, 71, passed away at his home in Erie, on Friday, April 5, 2024, after an extended illness. A beautician by profession, he worked at Foxy Lady and the Man, Hairporte Unlimited, and the Best Little Hair House in Town; he was part-owner of Hairporte Unlimited. Scott attended Academy High School, class of 1970, before graduating from Erie Beauty Academy. For the last several years, he was an active board member of the Knight of St. John’s where he also enjoyed Friday night Bingo.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents John “Jack” Farr and Betty Farr as well as his sister, Deborah Farr Lawrie Finegan and nephew Jared “Jed” Lawrie. He is survived by a nephew Derek (Colleen) Lawrie of Erie and great-nieces Finnley and Everly. Private arrangements by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
