David Howard Boehm
David Howard Boehm, age 79, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie on March 20, 1945, the son of the late Walter A. and Charlotte E. Trampenau Boehm.
David served in the US Coast Guard during the Vietnam War and received many medals.
He was employed at Reed Mfg. in the Shipping Dept. from 1973-2012. He was a member of the VFW Post 470 and enjoyed coin collecting, watching golf and all sports, and was a former bowler in bowling leagues.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Sheila Boehm.
He is survived by one son, Brian Boehm of Erie, one brother Walter “Chuck” Boehm (Nora) of Erie and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2 pm until the time of service at 5 pm. Private burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10 am.
