Obituary of Tammy Marie Talarico Blumish

Tammy Marie Blumish Tammy Marie Talarico Blumish, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent Hospital on Wednesday May 1, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1963, in Norfolk, Virgina to the late Jacob “Jake” and Eufemia “Faye” Leggieri Talarico. Tammy graduated Tech Memorial High School in 1981. She attended Edinboro University, majoring in early childhood education. She followed her dream career of being a preschool teacher, as well as having a house full of children. Tammy loved her family very much. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and traveling. She was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She avidly spent time at Presque Isle State Park. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Giacamo “Jack”; her son, Jake Matthew McAllister; as well as her best friend, Lisa (Jeff) Schlosser. She is survived by her beloved partner, Matthew McAllister; her sons, Nicholas “Nick” McAllister (Miranda) and Justin Blumish; daughters, Marie Blumish and Leana McAllister; sister, Renee Siano; two nephews, Mario and Anthony; niece, Angela Talarico; as well as her two grandchildren, Bria Norman and Remi McAllister. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road on Sunday, May 5th from noon until the time of a private service at 1 pm.
