Margaret A. “Peggy” Babo Cousins

Margaret A. “Peggy” Babo Cousins, age 90, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Erie on September 26, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kuhn Babo.

Peg was employed at the Erie County Court House until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, playing cards, and watching her grandchildren in all their sporting events and activities.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years James R. Cousins, one daughter Kimberly Parsons, one son Gregory Cousins, one granddaughter Ellie Cousins, one brother Paul Babo, and one sister Dolores Hedderick.

She is survived by two sons; Paul Cousins (Erin) of Millcreek, Ed Cousins (Hollye) of Millcreek, one brother James Babo, one sister Rita Babo, one daughter-in-law Robin Cousins, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Private services were conducted at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
