Patrick Leland Cooper

Patrick Leland Cooper, age 60, of Millcreek, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. He was born in Las Vegas, NV on December 2, 1963, son of the late Gary and Joanne Cooper.

Pat was a 1982 graduate of Erie Technical Memorial High School. He most recently drove for EMTA. He loved Jesus and was an active member of the Federated Church in East Springfield where he previously served as a youth advisor. He was a gifted handyman and an avid Chicago Bears Fan. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed camping and road trips with his wife and children. Pat was also a great conversationalist with all he met.

Pat is survived by his wife, Tara N. Cooper; two children, Aidan and Reagan; five brothers, Gary, Terry (Paula), Roger (Fe), Tim, and Scott (Carol) Cooper, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Layla.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. Further visitation will be held at the Federated Church, 11995 Main St., East Springfield on Tuesday, August 20th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral and celebration of life service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Malcolm Beall. Interment will be held at Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be designated to the family through the funeral home.
