Diana Jean Gonzalez

Diana Jean Gonzalez, age 81, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday,

September 1, 2024 at the LECOM Senior Living Center. Diana was born at her grandparent’s home in Lawsonham, PA, the daughter of the late George and Edna Black, of Rimersburg, Pennsylvania. Diana graduated from Union Joint High School, class of 1961.

After graduation, Diana enrolled in beauty school and worked for many years in beauty salons before getting her teacher’s license where she taught at JH Thompson for 15 years. She

married Leo Gonzalez in1965 and they had three children. Diana had to quit her beauty job in 2006 to care for her daughter Lori full time. Diana, also was lovingly known to the grandkids as ''Goo''. She was preceded by her mother and father; two sisters Marsha Black and Janice Fuellhart, and one daughter Lori. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Saraceno and one son Tony and his wife Rona Gonzalez, five grandchildren: Meghan Gonzalez, Madison and her husband Harrison Sturdevant, Leah Saraceno, Tessa Gonzalez and Anthony Gonzalez, and three great-grandchildren; Jordan Sweet, Noah Mckelvey, and Elaina Mckelvey.

A private service of remembrance will be held by the family under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
